Chris Jenner
Former McHenry County College Board President Chris Jenner is in Florida where the temperature was 56 degrees, not ideal Florida weather, but 40-50 degrees warmer than Crystal Lake during the day.
Tonight the remaining six members of the College Board will interview five candidates for replace Jenner and, presumably, select one.
The five being interviewed are
- Tom Allen
- Suzanne Hoban
- Larry Kokkelenberg
- Gary Mader
- Charles Mehlman
Yesterday I asked for copies of applications, but was put off by the MCC Freedom of Information Officer until after the selection.
I remember when McHenry County’s FOI Officer would sometimes respond to requests the day they were made.
Chris Jenner, you will be missed.

Very few like Jenner.
And he spent years donating his time to respect the taxpayer.
Not for the glory but for more heartburn than one should have to endure.
He will be missed.

And then Pam Althoff worked with the Democrats to pass HB3796 in 2014.
She even worked to override a Democrat Governor’s veto.
Last year she was instrumental in eliminating some of the reason to being a GOP committeemen.
She is bad for the GOP and even worse for the taxpayers imo.
