Official Paperwork Filed Taking Four GOP Precinct Committeemen Hopefuls Off Ballot

The McHenry County Electoral Board has removed four candidates from the Republican Primary Election ballot;

They are

  • Robert M. Gray, challenged by Walter Tynis on his petitions in Nunda 16
  • Michael Collins in McHenry 5, whose petition was successfully challenged by Joseph Ziemann
  • Barrett Irwin, who sought to run in McHenry 35, was ruled off the ballot in a challenge from Lisa Keller.
  • In McHenry 29, Leon Van Every got kicked off the ballot as a result of a challenge by Erik Sivertsen.
