Compensation of Dorr Township Officials — 7 Comments

  1. No Supervisor should be paid more than $20,000 and there should be no benefits for any elected officials.

Highway Commissioners should be paid a stipend based on center line road miles – I think a figure of $500 per road mile is reasonable. If the Road Commissioner also performs maintenance on vehicles and / or drives any of the vehicles, he / she should be paid the about $25 per hour with no benefits for such work.

  2. The supervisors pay was doubled Upon the old Supervisor’s retirement. They sure do take care of their own – to Hell with the taxpayers!

  3. What the hell does the supervisor supervise, a bunch of other family members on the taxpayers’ dime?

  4. Nobody goes to those meetings, except for occasionally the former supervisor.

I think you meant to write “2020-21” not “2020-12.”

  5. Add up all the salaries of all those road commissioners or kings or gurus or whatever they call themselves, of all the little townships, and tell me we need that many bosses at that much salary for the rural roads of this county.
