Finance and Audit Committee to Vote on IGA for Federal Funding for Randall Road Project Thursday

$23,248,831 in Federal Funds to be Discussed During Routine Consent Agenda

On the February 8th routine consent agenda for the Finance and Audit Committee is a resolution to consider approving an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Illinois for federal participation for the construction of the Randall Road project.

The County will pick up the remaining $19,745,057 for the estimated $42,993,888 construction cost.

  1. Can’t use the money for anything else – the voters said so.

    Agree with ‘Swordfish’ – eliminate all those landscape trucks by forcing the hire of LEGAL residents at a ‘working wage’ rate.

  2. Korpalski and his minions have wasted millions on this intersection. Do you understand retail boxes are dead, housing is dead, and the number of vehicles will decline? Consultants love the tax revenue as they help the inept make bad decisions. LITH is approving swimming pools at that location to balance the economy to take advantage of the millions of dollars of investment at that intersection. The Dominicks is soon to hit the auction block and become a resale shop or community farmers market. Economic development at its finest by a LITH city manager….Clough or cluff has not a clue.
