Not only has McHenry County Clerk Mary McClellan been denied reimbursement for fleece coats given to employees for Christmas presents, but former County Auditor Pam Palmer refused to approve parade candy and magnetic signs for reimbursement.
A photo below shows the car magnet being used in the 2016 Algonquin Founders Day Parade:
Bleed the taxpayers McClellan, you and your hubby are a real piece of …………
This reads to me like the candy was paid for…scandal!
Imagine how these politicians and bureaucrats would be spending taxpayer money if there was no one checking over the invoices!
It would be hard to think of a more obvious campaign expense than publicity sought by being in a parade, unless bills for campaign signs are coming next. Is she trying to claim she was serving the public by parading?
I wouldn’t reimburse her for the candy either.
It looks like she ate most of it herself.
Auditor Pam Palmer in effect states that Mary misrepresented her reason for reimbursement for purchase of magnetic signs. What has been Mary’s response to this issue?
lol LTRESIDENT
Pam only scrutinized McClellan look at all the lunches Joe Tirio bought his staff with tax payer money. Or lets talk about Assistant States Attorney Demetri Pete who gets his bar association dues and his Illinois Attorney Registration paid for by the Tax Payer not to mention 40 others to the tune of 15,000 dollars. Lou Bianchi use to submit his candy for parades oh that’s right Pam Palmer is the reason Lou Bianchi was charged with a crime. Thank God Lou was able to fight these people. This is nothing more than a fishing expedition.
Maybe Gil, her Prince Philip sort of a husband, should look into a trainer for his gluttonous wife.
Or at least put a lock on the fridge!
@ Lou Bianchi use to submit his candy for parades………..
Why am I NOT surprised?
