Bob Miller defending township government at a hearing of the McHenry County Board’s Consolidation Task Force

Another of former Algonquin Township Road Commissioner Bob Miller’s employees got significant miscellaneous income during the period of 2013 through May 15, 2017.

His name is Brian Doubek and he received $22,400 in what the Northwest Herald has characterized as “bonus” money.

Note Doubek is another of the employees who received large amounts just before Christmas.

Whatever it was, in last Sunday’s NWH article, it was reported that Algonquin Township is one of
the few McHenry County Townships employing the practice and is by far and away the largest maker of such payments.
