13-Year Old to Kane County Youth Detention Center after Threatening Northwood Milldle School

Student Arrested for Making Threats

A 13-year-old student has been charged with Disorderly Conduct after making threats against Northwood Middle School, Woodstock.

On February 22, deputies were made aware of threats made by a 13-year-old student to other students at a bus stop in unincorporated Wonder Lake the previous day.

The 13-year-old, who attends Northwood Middle School in Woodstock, made threats of violence  oward the school.

An investigation was launched by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, which led to the arrest.

The juvenile is currently being held in the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center.

  • Arrested: 13-years-old, Wonder Lake, Illinois
  • Charges:  Juvenile Disorderly Conduct (class 4)

The charges against this individual are merely allegations against them. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
