Casten’s record makes it clear: he intends to raise your taxes

DuPage County, IL – Sean Casten has made it perfectly clear to voters in the Sixth District he intends to raise their taxes.
- Earlier this year, Casten said he’d vote to repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act if elected, fully reinstating the Alternative Minimum Tax that hurt more than 30,000 Sixth District taxpayers and taking away the tax breaks families and small businesses saw as a result.
- Casten has repeatedly refused to tell Sixth District voters if he would support the tax hike plan Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in Congress promised to implement if given majority control of the House and Senate.
- Casten refuses to stand up for the taxpayers in his district against Illinois Democratic Gubernatorial candidate J.B. Pritzker state income tax hike plan.
- Last summer, when Illinoisans were saddled with a 32% state income tax increase – Casten remained silent.
“Sean Casten’s tried to avoid his record on tax hikes, but it’s time for him to be honest and tell the hardworking taxpayers in our district he intends follow Nancy Pelosi’s lead and raise their taxes,” said Roskam for Congress spokesman, Veronica Vera.

The vast majority of Democrat politicians, or would be Democrat politicians, usually obediently fall in line with the stupid and corrupt leaders in DC such as Pelosi, Harry Reid (ret) or the dope Chuck Schumer. It is highly likely that the Democrat opponent of Roskam would do the same. The Democrat Party, led by the corrupt Hillary, will continue their destructive and outrageous anti-American agenda of open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens and higher taxes to redistribute the assets and income of hard working Americans to those taking advantage of government welfare.
Thanks to the compelling arguments of our political science and sociology professor, I will never support the Democrat Party. Forgot to mention that most Democrat politicians support Pro-Death policies of killing infants in the womb of mothers. Pro-Choice by Democrats means that they condone death of babies in the womb. Pro-Choice promoted by Democrats is “their” campaign to legitimize the killing of human being babies in the womb. My pro-life, Martin Luther King Jr. fan, sunshine political science and sociology professor also forgot to mention the non disclosure agreement set up by Michael Cohen, tronald dump’s longtime lawyer, arranged on behalf of Elliott Broidy, the Republican National Committee’s national deputy finance chairman (don’t you love these fancy titles?) after he had what he describes as a “consensual relationship” with a Playboy model who became pregnant. The deal, which wasn’t previously reported, prohibits the Los Angeles woman from disclosing her alleged relationship with Mr. Broidy in exchange for $1.6 million to be paid to her over two years in quarterly installments. Broidy, in a statement to the paper, said the woman told him she had become pregnant and that she “decided that she did not want to continue with the pregnancy.” (The woman reportedly said that Broidy was the one who had impregnated her, but the contract they reached does not assert any conclusions about paternity, and Broidy does not appear to have commented on the matter.) Broidy says he “offered to help her financially during this difficult period,” and the woman “has told Mr. Broidy’s camp that she had an abortion,” according to the Wall Street Journal. The tax cut and jobs act is not only adding trillions to the national debt, it is taking the budget deficit up to a trillion. Not very responsible government.
The $1.3 Trillion spending bill approved by the Senate (65-32) was reluctantly signed by Trump. He had to accept a lot of pork put in it by Democrats to get some things he wanted. Of the 97 Senators who voted, 83% of Democrats said YES while only 52% of Republicans voted YES.
The spending bill was passed by the Senate on March 23, 2018 and will contribute to a larger deficit.
The Democrat Party is led by Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and radicals Thomas Perez and Keith Ellison.

Hillary, who won the popular vote in the election, is not running the Democratic party, she is history! Let say you pay $10,000 in FIT a year, just a nice round number. In 2016 $900.00 of that went to help people who need the help. I have no problem with that myself, if these Americans really need the help. I admit there is much fraud and waste in all government programs. What really bothers me is that $600.00 of the $10,000 goes to paying interest on the national debt. This is our debt, you, me, Angel, Cal…and we are adding more to it so we can give huge tax breaks to the very rich. Not very responsible government!
In a most recent OMB data year, approximately 70 percent of tax revenue collected is spent on human resources which includes welfare programs such as food stamps, medicaid, etc while 6.6 percent is for interest payments and a measly 15 percent for national defense.
Our Constitution states that the federal government shall “provide” for the national defense but only “promote” general welfare.
