- Community Development Housing Grant Commission (two seats)
- McHenry County Conservation District (one seat)
- McHenry County Housing Authority (two seats)
- McHenry County Mental Health Board (one seat)
- Senior Services Grant Commission (two seats)
- Tuberculosis Care and Treatment Board (one seat)
- Valley Hi Cemetery Board (one seat)

The Conservation District was allowed by the County Board to increase it tax take from $19,511,341.32
to $19,508,030.95, a slight decrease. Since this tax district is under Jack Franks’ purvey, I wonder why its levy was not decreased 10%.
There are some very serious opportunities here for those who are truly interested in saving taxpayer dollars.
Conservation District, Housing Authority, Mental Health Board in particular.
Anybody who sits on their hands has no one else to look at but the person in their bathroom mirror.
Yea if you decide to serve you will be required to fill out the addendum to statement of economic interest.
You must disclose very personal financial information.
Beware before you swear to serve.
Most of those who are not qualified apply and then move on because it is not worth their

Perfect time to consolidate these committees and boards into the duties of the County Board members.
Considering they have so many fewer meetings, right?
