Allies of Jack Franks calling themselves the Illinois Integrity Fund, but using a fake address in Cook County’s Hoffman Estates, sent numerous mailings attacking McHenry County Clerk candidate Joe Tirio and County Board candidates Chuck Wheeler, Michael Rein, Ersel Schuster and Orville Brettman.
Tirio has engaged an attorney to uncover the identity of those financing the hit pieces and now he is seeing public support to pay the cost.

Money spent litigating against illegal actions taken during the political process should, I believe, have far greater effect on the corrupt incestuous sham process of the Illinois Litigation and Selective Law Enforcement Industry than any multiples spent on campaign contributions to any individual or any political party.
I have realized that it is naive and finally evil to view the same corrupt practices, time and time again, and think that:
‘somebody else will take care of that’
‘it is hopeless to try to fight, all politics is this way’
‘if my guy/gal/party gets elected, things will be different’

After rolling out the “Cut Property Taxes 10$ NOW” campaign, Franks referred to using his bully pulpit with regard to school levies.
Please try to defend the Cut 10 logo as being intended to convey that taxes on people’s homes would go down 10%.
Please argue that the Cut 10 slogan and graphic “Cut Property Taxes NOW 10%” was not intended to convince people if Jack were elected that taxes on people’s homes would decrease 10%.
The bully pulpit pitch was after Franks started getting pounded for not telling the truth about what his logo so clearly implied.
I also believed all that Oz propaganda, that Glenda was a ‘good witch’, before she started cleaning me out every June 1st.

The County Treasurer is part of the executive branch and doesn’t control the taxes you pay. She merely collects them.
That office has nothing to do with assessments nor tax rates.
If your assessment is wrong, go after the Assessor.
If the rate is too high go after the legislative branch, the county board and the boards of the various government bodies taxing you.
Especially go after the school boards.
