With the Northwest Herald and the Chicago Tribune running articles about the McHenry VFW’s Queen of Heaths raffle, plus an expected youth baseball game, the parking may be scarce for the 7 PM meeting of the McHenry County Republican Central Committee.

The reason for the meeting is to overcome some possible technical glitch in the last meeting held there, at which appointed McHenry County Auditor Shannon Teresi was selected to represent the GOP on the fall ballot.

I’m going early to make sure I have a parking space.
