19-Year Old Gets Ten Years in Prison for Woodstock Stabbing

BRYAN ESTRADA SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR AGGRAVATED ROBBERY AND AGGRAVATED BATTERY OFFENSES

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Bryan Estrada, age 19, was sentenced to ten years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for

  • Aggravated Robbery, a Class 1 Felony and
  • Aggravated Battery, a Class 3 Felony.

The charges proceed from a 2016 incident wherein Estrada, while engaged in an argument in the 500 block of East Jackson Street, Woodstock, stabbed a male in the torso with a knife.

The cases were prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Victor Escarcida of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office and investigated by the Woodstock Police Department.
