Prairie Grove School

Seventy teachers and forth support staff members working for Prairie Grove Grade School District 46 contributed almost $60,000 a year to the Illinois Education Association.

The union, which captured control of the school board at one point, counts all seventy teachers as dues payers.

The Prairie Grove Teachers Union members pay $463.68 a year.

All but three of the support staff are members of their union.

Full-time support members pay $366.50 per year, while part-timers pay $210 annually.

The three have been forced to pay “fair share” amounts  of $336.50 per year.
