NWH Coverage of Joe Tirio’s Court Date Seeking Subpoena Power to Go After Breaker Press for Identity of Illiinois Integrity (sic) Fund

The headline of this Saturday Northwest Herald article on Thursday afternoon’s suit by Recorder of Deeds Joe Tirio against Breaker Press makes me what to read it, if only because it is almost opposite of my own:

Judge partially denies request to dismiss McHenry County recorder’s ‘integrity fund’ probe

McHenry County Judge Kevin Costello instructed County Recorder Joe Tirio’s attorney, Philip Prossnitz (right), to refile a petition seeking answers …

The disagreement in interpretation is that I heard Judge Costello agree with Tirio attorney Philip Prossnitz on the facts and argument concerning the substance of the case, but inform him that he needed to re-word the pleading.

Maybe the article says that later on.

The Judge most certainly said the pleading had to be re-written, but that didn’t seem like the most important part of his decision.

Here’s my headline. Click on it and compare my take with the NWH’s reporter’s, remembering that NWH reporters don’t write headlines.

  1. Those mailers and robocalls were full of lies. It’s too bad some people fell for them.
Democrats know they can’t run on their honesty, hard work, a well thought out plan or good record, therefore they set out to steal votes.

  2. It’s hard to believe this post isn’t a joke.

Everyone knows you’re not a journalist, you really don’t need to work so hard to prove it.

  3. joekv, well said and so true. cal has been a pretender his whole adult life.

  4. Joeky and tom vow to declare victory over this blob, right down to the final moronic comment.

  5. Joekv, what does “not a journalist” even mean?

Is there some kind of criteria other than writing a column and a place to post?

Is there a license and registration?

You obviously read, kind of makes him a journalist.
