Board of Elections Hearings on Complaints Made by Jack Franks’ Supporter This Morning

Ronald Eck, a member of Jack Franks’ fundraising Host Committees in years past filed complaints against Joe Tirio and the McHenry County Republican Party concerning legal fees used to finance the suit against the Illinois Integrity (sic) Fund.

The name of recurrent petition challenger, Ron Eck, appears on State Rep. Jack Franks’ 2015 Host Committee.

The hearings are this morning in Chicago.

The same Ronald Eck made ab Election Board complaint against Michael Walkup when Walkup was opposing Franks for County Board Chairman.

He did not show for the hearing.

The year before, the Republican target was State Rep. candidate Steve Reick.

Neither did an airline attendant who filed a bogus complaint against GOP State Rep. candidate John O’Neill.

This tactic is one used by Franks’ allies to waste a day of the Republican who has to go to Chicago for the hearing and/or waste money hiring an attorney.

  1. If they file an appeal from the dismissal it also allows them to put something in a mailer that says “Under investigation by the State Board of Elections for campaign finance violations”.

  2. Eck has long been used a cat’s paw for cases pushed by the forces of destruction and dissolution. https://www.leagle.com/decision/19921713604ne2d110911635

All hail Ron Eck, an eager, ask-no-questions patsy-plaintiff for any kinda suit the Democrats or their masters spew.

Eck is a cog in the Leftist Disorder Machine.

Don’t get caught in it’s dangerous gears as the whole thing breaks down!

  3. BTW… Cal, in a previous post you asked when Republicans ever interfered in a Dem primary. I pointed out that Rauner blatantly did so in the Dem Gubernatorial primary this year.

But Rauner also was directly involved in supporting Ken Dunkin in his primary, and it appears that he was at least in communication with folks in the Jason Gonzales/Mike Madigan primary.

  4. I didn’t know about the Rauner interference in the gubernatorial primary. Whom did he support?

I did know about the Dunkin assistance, so point well taken.

Of course, with regard to the hit pieces against Joe Tirio and the four county board candidates, we don’t yet know who was behind them.

We just know that all were strong opponents of Jack Franks.

  5. **I didn’t know about the Rauner interference in the gubernatorial primary. Whom did he support?**

He opposed Pritzker, explicitly. He spent millions on anti-Pritzker ads during the primary.

  6. I figured that was just part of the fall campaign, but I can see your take.
