A last minute nominee by the Democratic Party for the McHenry County Board has withdrawn her candidacy.
She is Kathy Adams and she volunteered to run against State Senator Pam Althoff, now running for McHenry County Board, and Chuck Wheeler, who is running for re-election.
Ward did not present herself on the Democratic Party primary ballot in March.
Instead, she was selected by caucus.
She withdrew her candidacy on August 23rd.
In any event, the two Republicans will have no opponent on the ballot this fall.
Too bad, I was hoping somebody could take the faker Althoff out.
This Ward just couldn’t be any worse than her!
