When the Lakewood Village Board chose Trustee Carl Davis to replace Paul Serwatka, who quite after a little more than a year to move to Alabama, that left a Board vacancy.
Lakewood Village Attorney Michael Smoron swears in Brian Augustine as Trustee to replace newly-installed Village President Carl Davis.
Tuesday night, Davis appointed Brian Augustine to serve out his term, which ends next spring.
He was approved without dissent by the Villaghe Board.
Serwatka didn’t ‘quit’ — Illinois and the little small-thinking munchkins of Lakewood made him realize his talents could be used far better elsewhere where common sense reigned!
…annnnd then he quit.
He literally resigned.
