Arrest for Business Burglary in Woodstock

Arrest – Burglary to Business

On Saturday, September 22nd, 2018, at approximately 6:00 A.M., the Woodstock Police Department responded to the Church Street Cafe, located at 90 Church Street, Woodstock, in reference to a report of a burglary to the business.

Information was developed by the Woodstock Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division which led to the identification of Donald J. Davidson as a suspect in the Burglary.

The Woodstock Police Department is thankful for the numerous tips received from the public regarding the identity of the suspect after the information was shared on social media.

Upon conferring with the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office, a felony charge of Burglary was approved against Davidson.

Davidson, who was already at the Woodstock Police Department for questioning in the matter, was arrested without incident.

Davidson remains in custody at the McHenry County Jail at this time.

Arrested Person: Donald J. Davidson, M/W/, 37, 1309 6th Street, Harvard, IL 60033

Charges: Burglary:  Class 2 Felony

Court Date: 09/27/18 @ 9:00 A.M.

Bond: $40,000 (10% Applies)
