Lakewood Man Arrested for Elmhurst Bank Robbery

A 31-year old Lakewood man named Evan Hall had charges filed against him by the U.S. Attorney for robbing the Elmhurst branch of the Bank of America on October 6th.

The FBI complaint says he stole $2,886.

The Tribune reports,

“Hall was driving a white Honda CR-V at the time of his arrest, that the FBI complaints states was reported stolen earlier Oct. 6 to the McHenry Police Department.”

  3. It is unbelievable to me that customers are not buzzed into banks.

    Nobody should be allowed in until a clear image of them is recorded.

    No hoodies covering part of your face etc.

    Yes, it’s inconvenient but the lack of security at our banks is a joke.

  5. Agree that bank doors should be locked and cameras should be placed at door to buzz in customers.

    Unfortunately, honest people who are goofballs that wear hoodies, or sunglasses or other face shielding items would not be allowed inside.
