The Finance Committee of the District 155 School Board will meet at 6 tonight at District headquarters on Virginia Street Road at 6. The agenda is obscure, but word is that next year’s tax burden will be discussed.

A Board meeting follows at 7:30. The Board Packet is here, but I find the print too small to read.

  1. Thank you, Gov. Rauner for helping bring this to light and allowing us workers decide!

  2. The Agenda for the Finance Committee meeting does not show a discussion item relating to the upcoming levy.

If they are planning to discuss the levy, that seems like a pretty large omission from the public disclosure of the Agenda.

Why would they not want the public to know that they were going to discuss the levy?

  3. They did not discuss the levy.

It was mainly about health insurance.
