Senator Craig Wilcox sworn in as 101st General Assembly convenes

SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Sen. Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) was sworn in as State Senator for the 32nd District on Jan. 9 as the 101st General Assembly convenes. This will be Wilcox’s first full term as State Senator.

Craig Wilcox

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the constituents of the 32nd District as their State Senator.

“I’m focused on making sure that I continue to represent them and their beliefs to the best of my ability.

“It’s imperative that this General Assembly provides residents with the necessary tax relief that will make them want to stay in Illinois.

“For too long, Illinoisans have not been getting the government they deserve for the amount of money they’ve been sending to Springfield.

“The 101st General Assembly will provide us the opportunity to rein in spending and reduce the tax burden placed on residents.

“These goals are possible if we work together in a bipartisan manner to promote fiscal responsibility, and an economic climate that will boost jobs and restore prosperity to Illinois.”
