Diane Evertsen Reaction to Tina Hill-John Jung Solicitation

The following email was sent by McHenry County Republican Party Chairman Diane Evertsen:

It appears we have committeemen who have taken it upon themselves to author an email relative to the wrangling in Algonquin Township.

I say “It appears” because I was NOT sent a copy of the letter, even though the author twice mentions she has sent the email to me.

As of today, I have not been included and have no idea who or how many recipients there have been.

The Executive Committee of the McHenry County Republican Party was not consulted, nor are we involved in that email communication.

Our committeemen are able, and encouraged, to meet and consult with committeemen from other precincts and counties to help them be successful.

The ability to network and learn new and better techniques to educate their voters on issues and policies increases their value to our communities and our Party.

Unfortunately, the information contained in the emailed letter cannot reasonably be construed as educational since it promotes activities which are simply not lawful.

Further, neither Ms. Hill nor Mr. Jung have authority to ask “in the name of the McHenry County Republican Party” for anyone’s resignation.

Neither does the Party have any authority to replace a duly elected Township Road Commissioner.

Thank you to the committeemen who took the time to contact me about this and I, personally, would like to apologize to you on behalf of others, for any concern or confusion this may have caused.

  1. Great Job Diane!

Tina Hill has been a disaster for years.

She repeatedly shows her incompetence, ignorance, and foolishness.

The fact that she continues to be a Committeeman after declaring her allegiance to the ultimate liberal Hillary Clinton can only be attributable to a lack of awareness within her precinct that she is a flaming liberal that is all about telling the rest of us how to live when she cannot manage her own affairs.

While the focus of many of the commenters have been on Teny Tina Tina, the reality is that John Jung needs an opponent the next time he runs for anything!

This guy elected to join forces with that nutjob solely to satisfy the passions of the McHenry County Democrats.

jung you owe Andrew an apology and you should stop sucking up to the has-beens of McHenry County politics like Bob Miller.

Both Tina and Jung should resign!

  2. What is the point of this letter?

Diane didn’t know the Hill email was coming.

Evertsen doesn’t admonish Gasbag in her response and basically admits she does not know what is going on in the party.

    OH, and MORE TYPOS!

HEY PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN AND WOMEN, YOU GET WHAT YOU ELECTED!!

You have to ask yourself one question: Is the McHenry County Republican Party better off or worse off from 2 years ago?

  3. The last time we had an inner political republican meeting and elected the present people to be in charge…

we noticed that there was a small.but very upset group because they were voted out…

actually they were pissed, and evidently still are…

they had axes to grind then and evidently still do…..

    my retort is…TFB…

I am sure they will be able to figure out what I meant……

Diane is doing a great job and I can’t think of anyone around who could do better…..

Please note that anywhere misspelling and improper grammar is used…

I purposely did that to piss off certain people

  4. Fair Play why don’t you worry about your own party?

You seem to comment on these posts like you were a loyal Republican offering helpful tips.

Guess what, We all know you are a demorat (no typo)!

  5. Does Fair Play belong to the same Republican Party as Jeffery Lichte?

  6. Well said, Diane.

These two and those they represent .. . .

Well, they are Not representing or supporting the actual Republicans in this county.

  7. FairPlay, We’re very happy with who we elected.

Diane can bring home the bacon, and fry it up in a pan, and never let you forget you’re a Nancy-“man”.

  8. @Just Sayin, @Mark, @Gettaclue – You’re guys are right.

    Stick with Dianne.

    She’s doing a great job.

    Real leadership.

    Has everyone on message.

    Fundraising like a pro.

She does the best press releases; has the best words.

Her letters to the editor parallel Pericles.
