Last Friday I made a number of calls to the state switchboard in Springfield.
It’s 217-782-2000.
Maybe the operation was short-staffed, but I can tell you I got put on hold a number of times for relatively long periods of time. (Made another call and asked if they were short-handed. The answer was that it was not.)
So, if you want to contact your legislators, you might want to find their direct lines.
