Jack Franks once held ambitions to run for Governor.
After returning to McHenry County and winning the County Board Chairmanship, the rumor was he would be appointed Secretary of State after Jesse White won re-election and retired.
To those ends Franks has been courting media statewide for well over a decade.
Now, those same media are spreading information about his search warrant problems.
Recently one showed up on Quincy television station WGEM.
It ran a story some of which as you can see below:
Springfield, IL – We’re learning more about a sexual misconduct investigation surrounding a former Illinois lawmaker, first reported by the Chicago Sun-Times. A recent search warrant obtained through a Freedom of Information request shows a Sangamon County Judge found probable cause for several crimes including criminal sexual assault, sexual abuse, official misconduct, stalking and aggravated battery.
