Correcting? There ARE NO tests. Even the center for disease creation admits that. They have never ever isolated one wireus of ANY disease EVER so as to study it. Unless the entire population is tested then sorted into mandatory quarantine conditions, why so much importance placed on testing?
Testing is largely irrelevant given the procedures following test results:
Symptoms, self quarantine.
Severe Respiratory distress: go to ED.
Before getting angry about “no testing available “, sort out the logical next steps taken, given known test results.
Are those much different, as a practical matter, than what is happening now?

Afteraction statistical analysis, important for developing vaccine and txt, will need these test results.

But another test exists which can detect if a person has had Covid 19 (it detects antibodies your body produced).

Most all medical experts have said to ONLY take the test for the Chinese Virus after first having all the symptoms and then getting approval for test from your doctor.
There have been some in the media and politicians saying that all should be tested. That would unnecessarily use up medical resources and would be reckless.
Those having symptoms and taking the test and then getting a negative report of course can still contract the disease after getting a good report IF they do not follow all of the advisories about keeping safe. Dr Deborah Birx of the WhiteHouse Virus task force mentioned this a while back.
