McHenry County Republican Finances – 1st Quarter of 2020

I haven’t looked at the financial situation of the local Republican Party for a while, so today let’s look at what happened this year.

There will be three articles, one for each quarterly report.

During the first three months, the committee spent $11,801.57 and took in $20,401, plus $3,000 for an in-kind contribution of rent for its headquarters in the tip of the Crystal Lake Plaza’s “V” (where my State Rep. office used to be located).

It started 2020 with $9,829.35 and had $18, 224.78 at the end of March.

Diane Evertsen was Party Chairman for that period.

The contributions were offset by the following expenditures:

  • $300 – McHenry County College
  • $864 – Minuteman Printing, McHenry
  • $5,000 – Premiere Speakers Bureau, Franklin, TN, [for speaker Charlie Kirk}
  • $1,095 – Republican County Chairman’s Association
  • $445 – Turnkey Digital, Woodstock
  • $275 – Col. Craig Wilcox for postage

  1. Kirk was a nice draw to the Lincoln Day dinner last year.

    A great time and a very patriotic event.

  2. Kirk is a neo con. Count me out.

    Why no money from the RINOS (Althoff, Bates, Reick, Aavang, Reinert, Tryon, McCann, Kenneally, Skala, etc.)?

    He was stupid.

    Any political donations should go directly to candidates.

    The party here blows big time.
