Quad-Cities’ Come Up with a Tourist Trap Idea

Featured in a Chicago Tribune editorial today is an intriguing idea to use an interstate bridge about to be replaced as a location for bison, what we uninformed called “buffalo.”

When we went in South Dakota on the way to Yellowstone, we visited a state park where one could take a ride through a buffalo herd.

We didn’t have time, but had a close experience when part of a herd came through a parking lot and another when a big herd crossed the road in Yellowstone.

We found these in South Dakota’s Black Hills.

Think of the fun kids would have looking out the window at buffalo as they crossed the Mississippi River.

  1. True, but I bet it doesn’t get as much traffic as an Interstate between Illinois and Iowa.

  2. and more stories about D.A. getting gored by them cause they think their dogs in a zoo

yeah I can see the headlines now.

  3. Insane.

But that’s what living in Illinois is all about!
