Huntley Police Hunt Down Man at Night in Del Webb, No Charges Filed

Man leads police on several hour search

On June 26, 2021 at approximately 8:30 pm, the Huntley Police Department responded to a motorist assist in the area of Illinois Route 47 and Del Webb Boulevard.

While an officer was enroute to the location, another caller reported what was allegedly gunshots being fired from a person that had left the disabled vehicle, that had been left in the roadway.

Several officers responded to the area, a short time later a caller reported a male Caucasian with a beard, wearing camouflage shorts, grey tank top, and carrying a blue backpack was attempting to make entry to a home on the 12100 block of White Tail Lane.

Several additional calls were also received describing a similar person in the neighborhood, and once the subject observed Huntley Police in the area he fled the area between houses on foot.

Additional law enforcement resources were requested to assist in locating the subject and a several hour search was conducting utilizing several agencies officers, K-9’s, drones, and night vision.

At approximately 12:50 am on June 27, 2021, the suspect was located in the area 13100 block of Crestview Drive and taken into custody.

The suspect reported leg injuries and was transported to a local hospital for examination.

No charges have been filed in the incident and this incident is under further investigation.

The Huntley Police Department is requesting additional information from the public who may have had an
encounter, or video, with a person matching this description during this timeframe.

  2. Charges can be filed later after he gets a psych evaluation and cleared for processing, that is the way they reimagined policing.

    Process, release and repeat.

  4. Rumor around town is that the subject of said man hunt was none other than Hunter Biden,
    which explains why no charges have been filed.

    So what became of the disabled vehicle left in the roadway ?

    So many lose ends as usual when it comes to HPD shoddy report writing.
