RICHARD F. WACHTER SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION FOR THE OFFENSES OF AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Richard F. Wachter, 56, of Woodstock, Illinois, was sentenced on September 8, 2021 to ten years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge Coppedge, pursuant to a negotiated plea, after pleading guilty to two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault.
Wachter was also sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.
On August 9, 2018, Wachter was charged with sexually assaulting and abusing multiple victims dating back to the 1990s.
On August 11, 2017, the Statute of Limitations for the major felony sex crimes committed against children was eliminated, so long as the cases were still viable under the extended statute of limitations, and Wachter was prosecuted for his past offenses against children.
This case was investigated by Detective Sharp of the Woodstock Police Department.
The case was prosecuted by Sharyl Eisenstein of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
In ten years he would still be young enough to run for mayor of Woodstock. Go for it , Rich !

If this is who I am thinking of (a man named Richard in the Woodstock area who used to abuse children) he used to molest little boys.
The pool was one place he did it.
Because kids were traumatized, they were unable to positively identify him in lineups so he was not charged many years ago even though everybody knew and all the circumstantial evidence showed it.
I hope he catches a beating while he’s incarcerated.

Woodstock police are corrupt and one of their senior officers who now gets a pension was sexting a 12 year old girl.
Another Woodstock cop blatantly lied about “smelling” drugs so he could harass a person.

The police is there to make sure you don’t beat child molesters and murderers to death.

If you can’t acknowledge the need for police reform or that there are bad cops and they are more than just a few bad apples, you’re going to have a HARD time.
