In multiple articles since Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal on 5 felony charges in Kenosha County on Friday, Co-Defense Attorney Mark Richards of Racine, WI blasts Republican members of Congress publicly saying they’ll offer Rittenhouse, who turns 19 just after first of the year, a congressional internship.

Kyle Rittenhouse attorney Mark Richards slammed GOP congressman who practically begged his client to come work for them, declaring that their internship offers are nothing more than a cash grab.
“They’re raising money on it and you have all these Republican congressmen saying come work for me,” Richards said to Insider following Rittenhouse’s acquittal Friday.
“They want to trade on his celebrity and I think it’s disgusting.”
The remarks came following offers from far-right lawmakers such as Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), and Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who bantered on Twitter about who could scoop up the conservative poster child.
Richards did not mince words for Donald Trump, Jr., either, after he tweeted—and deleted—that a gun rights organization would send Rittenhouse an AR-15.
“He’s an idiot. I don’t have to expand on that because it speaks for itself,” he said.

So attorney Mark D. Richards is a never Trumper, got it.
Besides that, his defense of Mr. Rittenhouse was somewhat lackluster but thanks to
an even more lackluster (incompetent and corrupt) prosecutor and a brave jury, Kyle is now free.

Why were the fake charges against Kyle ever brought in the first place?
Don’t tell me it wasn’t a showtrial.
Richards almost blew it in the closing–a closing that was handed to him, that any armchair at home viwer could have done a more convincing and focused job of.
All he had to do was use Bingers positions and witnesses statements—he handed him the case.
But Richards went too long, meandered, didnt use emotion or make it easy for jurors to sort through those boring, and long Instructions.
He and his partner did well in the end–but he was not the genius I had him pegged as.
Probably speaks highly of Waukesha no bail DA Chisolm too.
Wisconsin Lawyers and Judges seem to know and like each other up there.

Seen him on every TV show there is since the trial so he should shut up about the Publicity crap.
Convincing job by Richards to keep the violent Democrats from endangering his family livelihood and peace in the southern Wisconsin area. I did like his calm demeanor but to some other posters the case was an easy one to make and a couple of times he nearly blew it. On avoiding the Democrat violence It may or may not work however I’m surprised the mostly peaceful Dems have not tried to threaten or beat him yet. After all everyone (Whitey) should take a beating now and then.
