Sunday Funny: Lauren Underwood Cheat Sheet to Build Back Better (or is it Broke/Bankrupt)

Lauren Underwood

Underwood’s congressional office Thanksgiving Day tweet mid-afternoon seems more appropriate for April Fool’s Day for people who actually believe what they read from their IL-14 congresswoman

How much longer before she no longer represents McHenry County in the U.S. House of Representatives?

Please McHenry County Blog readers, tell me you weren’t fooled by the “cheat sheet” Underwood sent on Thanksgiving Day mid-afternoon via tweet.

And she dares to use President Biden’s “Big Lie” of “it’s paid for”?

Don’t laugh too hard (and people thought indoctrination was only taking place in the public schools)!

Sunday Funny: Lauren Underwood Cheat Sheet to Build Back Better (or is it Broke/Bankrupt) — 13 Comments

  1. Democrats have always believed that if we can put a man on the moon.

We can also blame the tragedy, of anyone that has five more dollars in the bank than they do.

  2. Democrats have been forever saying that the rich, and ultra wealthy and corporations need to pay their “Fair Share”. But, Democrats don’t explain exactly how or why these are not paying their Fair Share.

Are Democrats implying that the rich, ultra wealthy and corporations are not paying enough taxes as defined by the IRS code? If that is the case, why don’t Democrats be explicit and say which of these entities did not fully pay their taxes. Name them and list the years and dollar amounts they violated the IRS tax laws.

Here in Illinois, the jumbo Democrat Governor Prickster disconnected the toilets in one of his mansions to greatly reduce his real estate tax bill. You have to wonder where he and the Mrs did their number 1 and 2.

Democrats in the U.S. throughout the U.S. should always use the Illinois Governor as an example of not paying fair share. Then, they might gain some credibility.

  3. We need a cheat machine to get this idiot out of office.

She obviously doesn’t understand that inflation is a tax and anyone that believes if you don’t make over 400k it will not impact your taxes has been going to the pot shop too much.

And let’s tax those ultra wealthy corporations that have 1,000’s of accountants at hand and the firms they work for have already lobbied Congress and have made sure there are built in loopholes to make that statement a lie.

  4. It’s more tragic than funny. Holiday meals with family don’t need to be ruined by politics.

Not every waking minute of waking life has to be about politics.

You are allowed to have meaning and purpose and interests outside of politics.

It would be a real vibe kill to preach to people about politics over a holiday meal, especially with family you might not see often.

How empty and miserable are these people?

It must be part of the theme that they want to destroy families and if they can’t cancel holidays they’ll at least ruin them.

I’m thankful that my family has the good sense to not bring up politics on holidays.

Who wants to talk about federal legislation at Thanksgiving? These people are so out of touch.

They want to take religion, family, and personal interests out of life in general and make politics a force that penetrates everything everywhere at all times.

It’s creepy, not fun, and wrong.

Does she realize how out of touch she sounds?

The correct conversation for Thanksgiving is, “pass the mashed potatoes.”

  5. So fake buckwheat is keep the cheating be rolling for the dumb

  6. Koziol isn’t kidding about the unusual and repellant body odor of Underwood.

As an LEO during the recent Biden visit to CL, I had occasion to be near her, and she, in fact, stunk.

    Poor hygiene.

    That’s a Congresswoman representing me.

  7. Cal Skinner, according to an internet search, I found this: What does being a Leo mean?

“Leo is represented by the lion, and these spirited fire signs are the kings and queens of the celestial jungle. … They’re delighted to embrace their royal status: Vivacious, theatrical, and passionate, Leos love to bask in the spotlight and celebrate them selves”. Jun 28, 2021

I was not sure what it meant either.

  8. There’s just something ironic (yet apropos) about Underhanded calling it a “Cheat Sheet”.

Clever the way she inserted a. hallmark of the Democratic party in there.

  9. “She obviously doesn’t understand that inflation is a tax and anyone that believes if you don’t make over 400k it will not impact your taxes has been going to the pot shop too much.”

    She understands this.

That’s why she doesn’t have it as a point of debate on the cheat sheet.

  10. Sick of Orcs needs hazard pay for that experience. I bet he was wearing a mask and still smelled the stank.
