Kenneally Loses Drug-Induced Homicide Case

McHenry County State’s Attorney Patrick Kenneally has won lots of drug-induced homicide cases.

We regularly run press releases on such successes.

Yesterday, I opened the Chicago Tribune to page 3 and learned that he lost one against Crystal Lake woman.

I guess it’s news because of his success rate.

The gist of the case seems to be that the state’s Good Samaritan Law was found to trump her giving her boyfriend the opioid.

Kenneally Loses Drug-Induced Homicide Case — 7 Comments

  1. She did more than 99% of drug users do when finding a drug partner unresponsive…

she gave CPR, gave a dose of Narcan and had her sister call 911.

Far too many druggies just dump a body at a bar parking lot, or at the front door of the deceased, if they do anything at all

Thats kind of what the intent of the Good Samaritan Law is–realizing people are not going to stop doing drugs and provide at least some incentive to try and help with an OD vs the current “dump and run” approach.

I guess you could argue against it–but with fentanyl everywhere and killing more people than guns and car accidents combined, OD’s are here to stay.

Amazing China Joe doesnt make Fentanyl reduction a goal–but then again most of it is made in his home country of China.

  2. Kenneally likes to grab headlines with slam dunks.

His office contains the poorest of attorneys.

Rejects of even other states attorneys offices. T

he problem is Kenneally is an imbecile.

He needs to be booted from office and get his job back as a part time clown.

His overreach in the early days of the Covid crisis disqualifies him from anything of importance.

His office refused to prosecute perverts, probably because they go to the same parties.

Why did he drop the Satanist child sacrifice case Bianchi brought which saw the lesbian witch-coroner Lantz charged for her crimes:

Yes, there was and remains a real Blue Velvet scenario in sweet little McHenry County.

And now Tadelman is supposed to be crowned sheriff for more cover ups?

    Wake up people.

  3. Success rate?

He and his assistants plead out 98% of all criminal cases.

    That’s not success.

  4. Kenneally should have never prosecuted this case, even if the Good Samaritan Law wasnt fully passed when this death occurred.

Like was mentioned here, he’s going for what he thinks are low hanging easy peasy cases and throwing the book at them.

What about the guy who just got 2 years probation for attempting to abduct a child from a lemonade stand in Fox River Grove, two summers ago?–

then he ran into two parked cars with his get away and punched out two cops when finally caught–

not a day in jail for him except when first arrested and posted bond.

Why didnt he do jail time Kennally?

Picking and choosing and if friends with the defense lawyer they can “work things out” is my guess.

  5. Lantz’s lesbian partner rear ended my car in Woodstock.

I didn’t know who she was.

An obvious lesbian deputy sheriff came to accident scene, even though this happened inside the city.

The deputy tried to say I must have braked suddenly. BS!

    This was 8 years ago.

A Woodstock cop later told me about the ‘partnership’ of my rear ending idiot and the county coroner.

Why did the GOP establishment cover up her lgbtq bs?
