IL-11: Catalina Lauf’s Speech at Three Headed Eagle Alliance in Geneva

Mixed responses shared privately, what do commenters think? Is Lauf’s stump speech better or the same as 2020?

Some Friends of McHenry County Blog have told me privately congressional candidate Catalina Lauf (R, Woodstock) stump speech improved since her 2020 run. Others think it’s the same.

Do you concur?

This video was recorded at Lauf’s appearance before the Three Headed Eagle Alliance meeting in Geneva on December 9, two days after her announcement she was running in the new IL-11, which includes significant portions of McHenry and Kane counties among the seven counties in the district.

(Please note, while the graphics from a volunteer’s video from the Illinois Standing Against Tyranny group still labeled Lauf running in IL-16, Lauf is now a candidate in IL-11)

Please rate Lauf’s speech in comments.

  1. This particular speech, if you can even call it that, was so-so. Overall, she has gotten better at speaking but you might not know it from this clip alone.

John, the new 11th congressional district in Illinois includes portions of 8 counties, not 7. I threw in some municipalities to show you where to look in case you doubt me.

    1. Lake (Wauconda, Volo)
    2. McHenry (Woodstock, Marengo)
    3. Boone (Belvidere, Garden Prairie)
    4. DeKalb (Kingston, Genoa)
    5. Kane (Campton Hills, Elburn
    6. DuPage (Eola, Warrenville, Naperville, Woodridge)
    7. Cook (Lemont [look southeast of Bollingbrook, south of DesPlaines River] )
    8. Will (Bollingbrook)

Compared to the old/current 14th that Lauf ran in it’s 6 of the same counties (DeKalb, McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, and Will). Kendall is missing but Boone and Cook have been added. That old/current 14th district, now being represented by Underwood, has 7 counties. This new 11th that Lauf is running for will have 8. And Underwood’s new 14th will have 7: Will, Kane, DeKalb, Kendall, LaSalle, Putnam, and Bureau.

By my count, the new 16th district is going to have 21 counties. Imagine the 12th and 15th haha.

Here’s another fun fact for you, John…
    Cook County population: 5.15 million
    Average congressional district population: 710,000

Cook County *alone* could easily have 6 or 7 congressional districts *within* its county borders.

But guess how many congressional districts are *exclusively* in Cook County?

It looks like *1* — the 7th district.
However, it looks like Cook County is represented by 11 different districts (1-11). BACONMANDER MUCH? There is a district that goes from Champaign County to Cook County.

Why is this tolerated? When it happened, the Republicans said, “I disagree with this.” lol
When people are being rounded up into concentration camps, Republicans like cuhnul Craig Wilcox and Dan McConchie will be there to say, “I disagree with this.” Nothing more. That’s the way the U.S. of A will die. With evil people running amok and timid people pretending to be brave people saying, “I disagree with this bad thing that you are going to do to me.”

So I’ll support whichever primary candidate I think is most likely to get into a fist fight at the state or national capitol. Of the 3 Republican candidates in the 11th congressional district so far, it looks like that would be more likely with Lauf than Pierce or Seppelfrick.

Some people say, “Oh there’s another candidate about to enter just you wait!” Well, when is this boy or girl wonder candidate going to announce they are running to supposedly save GOP voters in the 11th district? (Do you at least know if the announcement will be before or after New Year?) Are they a celebrity? Can they raise 6 figures a month? If you said no to these questions then Lauf is going to beat them. Are they going to be another flop like Mayor Irvin? Another consultant cooked up failed scheme???

  2. Nice lesbians: https://summit.news/2021/12/16/great-grandparents-of-baby-girl-murdered-by-lesbian-couple-warned-social-services-told-they-were-racist-homophobic/

The great grandparents of a baby girl who was brutally murdered by a lesbian couple tried to warn social services about the abuse on five separate occasions, only to be told they were being homophobic and racist.

    Yes, really.

The sick couple, 20-year-old Frankie Smith and her 28-year-old girlfriend Savannah Brockhill, choke-slammed the toddler, 16-month-old Star Hobson, as well as violently swinging her by the legs and hitting her in the face.
