McHenry County Blog wishes sincere Happy Birthday to Kyle Rittenhouse, who turns 19 today.
Though Rittenhouse, along with his mother and sisters moved out of Antioch, IL in December of 2020, the recent transplant from Illinois most recent public appearance was last month at the Turning Point USA America Fest event in Phoenix.
Rittenhouse was part of a panel with media journalists discussing the events of Kenosha on the night of August 25, 2020.

Kyle Rittenhouse was defamed by many in the media. He has basis for lawsuits against them for their recklessness and bias. He could be a millionaire.
Nicholas Sandman, a young man from a Catholic high school in Kentucky, successfully sued some media giants for their reporting of him as a racist.
Many in the media are highly biased, deceitful, judgemental, unfair and some are downright liars. It is well past time that they should be held to account
What’s the process for that? Who has the final say in who gets that award? If it’s up to the Biden/Harris administration they won’t be giving any awards to Rittenhouse. Biden implied Rittenhouse was a white nationalist. But I agree that it shows a lot of courage to protect a community from a mob and ideally he would be a serious contender for that award. Unfortunately, things are not close to ideal — rather hellish, really.

I covered the Kyle Rittenhouse story in depth since August of 2020, including on-site coverage for the Lake County extradition hearing and a May pre-trial hearing in Kenosha.
Lin Wood bowed out of the Rittenhouse case in November of 2020, citing he needed to work on election fraud litigation.
His job was done raising the $2 million bail for Kyle’s release on November 20.
John M. Pierce started with Wood’s #FightBack firm, but quickly left #Fightback after taking the case for Rittenhouse.
Pierce was sacked in February of 2021, after several various incidents that didn’t help Kyle, including the infamous visit to the bar on January 5 of last year, and the trip to Miami, when Proud Boys Leader Enrique Tarrio picked up Rittenhouse, his mom and Pierce at Miami airport.
After the dust settled on the January 5 incident, the Rittenhouse Legal Defense Fund had enough of Pierce, and he was let go.
When/if Rittenhouse pursues civil litigation remains to be seen, but one thing the Rittenhouse team has learned since August of 2020, they will proceed very cautiously and will not be swayed by public opinion.
John, I didn’t start following the blog until around 7/2021 so I missed that one. I read or watched somewhere along the way from Lin Wood that he has a retired ex-military dirt bag handling him. Tarrio is likely that guy since a quick search said he was an ex-fed informant.
