Message of the Day – A Characterization of Pritzker

Wordsmith John Kass came up with this charaterizarion of Governor JB Pritzker in his column yesterday:

JB Pritzker at his only publicly announced McHenry County appearance, which took place at the main Algonquin Library.

“Born on third base thinking he hit a triple”

That the best characterization of a rich guy since Texas Democrat Governor Ann Richards said in 1988 George Bush was “born with a silver foot in his mouth.”

  1. I’m thinking Richards said that in 1993 or 1994, not 1988, since the Richards vs Bush Texas gubernatorial election was 1994, and Richards lost to Bush.

  2. **Wordsmith John Kass came up with this charaterizarion **

LOL – Kass did not come up with this “characterization” [sic].

This saying has been around for a long time.

  3. Jim Harbaugh was the most recent linguist who articulated the 3rd Base/triple line.

    Great line.

  4. Nefarious, you nit pick about the most insignificant things.

What about the anti-goyim plank in your own eye?

  5. Hi Augustus – you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Jewish people, or people you (wrongly) think are Jewish.

Valiant effort and all, but just know that calling me Jewish just makes you look ignorant AF.

  6. Nefarious, Augustus may be wrong, but you do sound like a Jew and push the Jewish agenda.

It’s OK to be Jewish, just not a communist. Even Prager says so.

  7. “Sound like a jew and push the Jewish agenda.”

    Oh, good god.

  8. My dad use to say “he’s lucky his father was born first” when speaking of those born with a “silver spoon” in their mouth.
