Dear Friend of Life:

A blessed holiday season and a healthy and happy new year! January offers several ways to support the sanctity of all life from conception to natural death.

Saturday, January 22nd, 7:30 to 8 p.m.: Right to Life McHenry County is hosting Light for Life at the pavilion on Woodstock Square in concert with National Sanctity of Human Life Day, a vigil and a call to action recognizing the sanctity of the 62,000,000 human lives lost to abortion since Roe v. Wade January 22, 1973.

The vigil will include brief speeches, prayer, and tolling of bells.

Hot chocolate and candles will be provided.Right to Life McHenry County has asked church of various denominations to toll their bells 62 times this day at noon and 6 p.m.

In addition, each mayor and village president within our county has been asked to fly the new pro-life flag at half mast for the entire weekend.

Pro-Life Flag.

Please encourage your pastor and city leader to participate.

What a meaningful way to commemorate these lost lives. Pro-life flags are available for purchase at prolifeflag.com.

Flag magnets from Right to Life McHenry County will be available in January at many churches for you to display on your cars. Check with your church.

Pray Outside Planned Parenthood: Every first Friday of the month, Right to Life McHenry County has a small group of prayer warriors outside Planned Parenthood in Aurora (3051 E. New York St., Aurora). We arrive at approximately 10:15 a.m. and return to McHenry County at approximately 1:30 p.m. Let us know if you would like to carpool or meet us there!

March for Life Chicago, January 8th: the Pro-Life Convention, starting at the Hilton at 720 S. Michigan Ave at 8 a.m., includes a youth rally and educational sessions. Actual march begins at Daley Plaza at 1:00 p.m. Catholic Mass follows at the Hilton at 4 p.m., then a banquet and cocktail hour. For details and registration: Marchforlifechicago.org.

Rockford walk for Life January 15th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Join fellow pro-lifers for a rally starting at the Rockford Federal Courthouse followed by a peaceful, prayerful walk pass the State of Illinois building and returning to the Federal Courthouse. Please visit Proliferockford.com for details.

We are hopeful that the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn the Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion for any reason at any time in the pregnancy. So far McHenry County has been blessed not to have any abortion facilities; however, we must be vigilant to keep abortion out of our community!

Please include the pro-life mission among your new year’s resolution actions, and especially, keep praying for all to recognize the God given sanctity of all human life.

Watch for upcoming events hosted by our pro-life PAC, McHenry County Pro-Life Victory PAC. (Right to Life McHenry County is not affiliated or involved with any pro-life events of McHenry County GoPAC).

  1. “Planned Parenthood” – On the surface and dictionary meaning of these combined words logically would be a biological married couple, man and woman, talking about what they will do when they become parents of a child they bring into this world. What steps will they take in advance of their child to be born and then follow through after the birth.

  2. Don’t these people have anything better to do than tell others what they should and shouldn’t do about their own medical decisions?

  3. Don’t township pukes have anything better to do than rip off taxpayers and be oh so progressively degenerate?

Are you that queer township Clerk Aylward?

  4. Hey Township when does a child become a child in your mind?

If a woman is pregnant and is 10 weeks but was fully planning on having the kid and she/baby killed in an accident is it single or double manslaughter?

Should late term abortions be legal?

Just curious when a baby is a baby in your mind?

  5. Townships R Great = Transgender Queer Alyward.

Dan, did you get the chop?

  6. “Don’t these people have anything better to do than tell others what they should and shouldn’t do about their own medical decisions?”

Funny how that doesn’t apply to the Jew jab vax!

  7. On Sunday evening VFW Woodstock event will be an indoor pro life event with Unplanned movie, speakers, pro-life agencies, food and big candidate meet and greet.

  8. Shalom Koziol —

“Jew jab vax?” Funny how your man Trump is advocating for vaccinations and never associated it with Jews. It must be his son-in-law Kushner convincing him to push the vaccines. Nevertheless, tell me what Jew’s have to do with the COVID vaccine? Don’t get vaxed if you don’t want to. Many of us Jews don’t give a damn if you do, some after reading your crap actually prefer you don’t.

  9. Shalom Townships —

They want to tell everyone how to live on here until it affects them. They will become pro choice the moment one of their daughters gets knocked up by a Negro, Asian, Hispanic or Jew. They will want medical attention as soon as the COVID symptoms require hospitalization despite not getting vaccinated. They will complain the election was fixed when a Democrat wins. The economy dips, it’s the Jews. Taxes need to be increased its the Hispanics at the border. A drug induced homicide is reported it must be the Negros supplying the drugs. And when their son’s turn out to be gay they kick him to the curb. You can count on Kozoil, Creosote and several others here to keep spreading the love.

Keep making the popcorn, the ignorance here is quite entertaining and other than you and Martin there are few other forms of intelligent life that dare participate here.
