Diane Hartman Approved as Regional Superintendent of Schools

On a vote od 22-2-1 Lakemoor’s Diane Hartman was ratified by the McHenry County Board Tuesday night.

Democrat Paula Yensen and Republican Tom Wilbeck voted “No.” Democrat Michael VIjuk abstained.

To continue in the post past November, Repoublican Hartman will have to run forthe office and win the fall election.

She replaces Leslie Schermerhorn, who was removed from office by the County Board.
