Soft Lockdown at Harvard High School

From the Harvard Police Department:

DISORDERLY CONDUCT 1-20-22

At approximately 1220 hrs, Police were notified an unknown person(s) at Harvard High School, 1103 N Jefferson St, Harvard had just airdropped a photograph to various student’s cellphones conveying a threat of violence that will be occurring in the next hour at the school.

The threat was deemed to be unfounded and at approximately 1330 hrs students and staff resumed normal operations.

The Harvard Police Department is still investigating the origin of the threat and attempting to identify the person(s) who sent it. If anyone has any information please contact the Police Department at (815)943-4431.

  1. Much ado about nothing.

    The school would be a lot safer and a much better learning environment if most of the teachers were fired for failing to pass a basic teacher competency test in their alleged fields; cut 3/4’s of the administrators and blanket expel all illegals and convicted felons.
