Wilcox Reacts to Supreme Court Dissing of Pritzker Mask Appral

From State Senator Craig Wilcox:

Senator Craig Wilcox Reacts to Supreme Court Denials of Pritzker Motions on Masks in Schools

McHENRY— Late in the day on Friday, the Illinois Supreme Court denied Gov. Pritzker’s petition to appeal the Appellate Court decision on his school mask, vaccine, and testing mandate.

The state’s highest court also vacated (eliminated) the Circuit Court’s temporary restraining order (TRO) that was in effect, deeming it moot.

Additionally, the Court also denied the Governor’s stay on the TRO since it is moot.

Following the issuance of the decisions, State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) issued the following statement:

“All three layers of Illinois’ judicial system, plus the legislature’s bipartisan and bicameral Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) have weighed in on Gov. Pritzker’s mask, vaccine, and testing mandate for schools.

“Yet we still have a Governor who is unwilling to acknowledge that his actions represented an abuse of his authority.

“In fact, he actually claimed the decisions represented a ‘victory.’

“This entire situation is an example of what happens when one man tries to unilaterally control every decision relative to how Illinoisans live and work during a pandemic.

“It was nothing short of an uprising by parents when they had had enough.

“They knew their rights were being violated and stood united against the Governor’s overreach.”

  1. Look how long he got away with it, with the help of all 3 layers, so he really won, right??

He got the last laugh, pretty much shot down when the CDC is opening everything any way.

The Supreme Courts sucks, especially the one married to the crooked former politician in Chicago.

He probably shook her down once a month?

  2. Fat tax cheating slob gets bitch slapped by an honest court which exhibits
a measure of integrity for a change.

  3. Some of you clowns thought that I was wrong when I told you two weeks ago that this was the desired outcome and that this is what was bound to happen.

CDC dropped its mask recommendations, DOT mask requirement was withdrawn (school buses), and Prickster’s case became moot. He can come out claiming to be a hero for having stayed the course until Uncle Joe and co. told him that it was OK.

Now they want you to forget about it while the next manufactured crisis begins in Ukraine. By the way: The Prickster family also comes from Ukraine.
