First-term Illinois Republican Member of Congress Mary Miller made a point about those who control the eduction of children determine the future, specifically,

The Democrats jumped on this as fast as they would if someone charged President Biden of using Hitler’s “Big Lie” technique during World War II.

I wonder if she would have been similarly criticized if the same sentiment about educating children while they are young had been taken from the Catholic Church.

Once Putin embarked on the road of war there was only ever one outcome if NATO didn’t escalate the conflict to WW3.

Cal, the original story here was about the Herald reporting that Marter publicized, rather than rejected, the endorsement of Miller, who quoted Hitler as a model for reaching youth.

An example of evil by a party are the efforts by the Democrat Legislature in Illinois to have public schools usurp the responsibilities of parents to teach their children about sexual matters in the public and communities. The Democrats in Springfield passed SB 818 in 2021 in the Legislature named, “Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act”. What parent or law-abiding citizen could object to that title?

But, Democrats often choose a nice sounding name for bills that create laws that are contrary to, 180 degrees opposite, of what the name or title suggests.
Within that bill, school children as young as eight will learn about gender identity and sexual orientation. Children as young as eleven will learn about different types of sex, sexual exploitation, and trafficking.
Children will also learn about deviant sexual acts.
These topics are properly the domain of parents and parental education of their children at an appropriate age and maturity.
The Governor’s office said that the content of the sexual education of the Bill will be optional for school districts and those districts that adopt will allow parents to opt out.
But, will parents not knowing the devious agenda of Democrats in Springfield and unions be given the information about the explicit content of the sex education or merely asked to approve or not approve, by letter to them, education of their children per the nice sounding, “Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy”, title?
