That piece by the Daily Herald is disgusting.
I’m referring to the article by Russell Lissau on Marter being endorsed by Mary Miller.
Did you know if you search for it on Google this is what comes up?
An endorsement from Hitler?
Say it aint so!
I now understand why Catalina Lauf won’t talk to Russell Lissau.
She simply ignores him, and she’s right to do so.
Other politicians should follow her lead and shun him.
Do not cooperate with hostile activists masquerading as journalists.
I will never again give Catalina Lauf grief for refusing to talk to the journalist known as Russell L from the Daily Herald.
He is simply too reckless, too biased, and cannot be trusted.
Why not just call Miller a downstate congresswoman?
Why refer to her as a “Hitler quoting lawmaker” and in the headline of all places?
Obviously, this was a hit piece on Marter and Miller.
This is what a reader might get out of Russell Lissau’s article:
Marter was endorsed by Miller, and Miller mentioned Hitler before in a (somewhat) positive way; therefore, Marter is practically Hitler.
I believe that was the intention.
Is this fair?
Absolutely not.
Is Russell Lissau balanced?
Nope.
Ask yourself if Russell Lissau would have done this if the situation involved different people, perhaps people who he admires (instead of ones he probably despises such as Marter and Miller).
Let’s pretend a politician got an endorsement from Barrack Obama.
Would Russell L say “endorsed by man who admits to eating dogs” or if they were endorsed by Kinzinger would he say “endorsed by frequent CNN guest and Trump hater”?
Would he call Kinzinger a “person who thinks US could soon have a Civil War“?
Why did this “journalist” pick the most controversial thing about Miller and identify her that way?
Why did he do it in the headline?
It was a hit piece. Plain and simple. Russell L has zero integrity.
Stay far away from that guy.
Russell Lissau wants a good story. He wants clicks.
He’s not interested in educating readers. That could clutter up a story.
Too many facts can get in the way of a story.
He’s more interested in the provocative, not the probitive.

I have read “stories” written by this reporter from the Herald in the past and he has shown bias.
Also, to show how dumb is the editorial staff, they wrote an editorial early in 2021 praising the dope VP, Kamala.
Here are excerpts from the Daily Herald Editorial Board on Jan 22, 2021 regarding VP Kamala Harris:
“Today there is a woman sitting adjacent to the Oval Office because America wants her there. She cannot be dismissed or ignored or reassigned.”
“Harris is well-prepared to be a co-leader of the nation. She is educated and intelligent, and has political relationships from four years in the Senate.”
“There is a woman in the room. And when she talks, others will listen.”
Got that? Kamala “is well-prepared to be a co-leader of the nation”.
Our Nation in just over one year is suffering greatly because of the tremendously bad decisions, stupidity and recklessness at the top.
