Message of the Day – A Meme — 12 Comments

  1. Correcting I was thinking more along the lines of the last one you sent with the smiling and then angry man
Box 1: I spend all my time absorbing all thing politics. (smile)
Box 2: I can’t spend 2 hours learning more about candidates’ positions (anger)

That is not a self meme as requested. LOL

Here’s one you can fast forward thru. Maybe you can get it in Joe Tirio’s hands. Even the politicians are screaming the machines cheat and the ES$S/Dominion machines are hackable and connected to the internet. Their manual even proves it. It dropped yesterday but hey the politco that you are it might be too difficult for people to understannd when it’s right in front of their face. Is Joe going to tell us that the D politicians in DC are spinning fanciful tales, mis and disinformation?

And Cal, come on. Unlock the IP would you. How long am I in the penalty box for this time? LOL

  2. MegMom, yesterday I asked for the forum to be uploaded to YouTube so viewers could play it back on faster speed. Facebook video does not have that feature.

    self-meme: meme of self
    That’s what you asked for.

    Make your own memes.

  3. From WIKI:

“A meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads by means of imitation from person to person within a culture and often carries symbolic meaning representing a particular phenomenon or theme. A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols, or practices, that can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena with a mimicked theme. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes in that they self-replicate, mutate, and respond to selective pressures.[5]

Proponents theorize that memes are a viral phenomenon that may evolve by natural selection in a manner analogous to that of biological evolution.[6] Memes do this through the processes of variation, mutation, competition, and inheritance, each of which influences a meme’s reproductive success. Memes spread through the behavior that they generate in their hosts. Memes that propagate less prolifically may become extinct, while others may survive, spread, and (for better or for worse) mutate. Memes that replicate most effectively enjoy more success, and some may replicate effectively even when they prove to be detrimental to the welfare of their hosts.[7]

A field of study called memetics[8] arose in the 1990s to explore the concepts and transmission of memes in terms of an evolutionary model. Criticism from a variety of fronts has challenged the notion that academic study can examine memes empirically. However, developments in neuroimaging may make empirical study possible.[9] Some commentators in the social sciences question the idea that one can meaningfully categorize culture in terms of discrete units, and are especially critical of the biological nature of the theory’s underpinnings.[10] Others have argued that this use of the term is the result of a misunderstanding of the original proposal.[11]

The word meme itself is a neologism coined by Richard Dawkins, originating from his 1976 book The Selfish Gene.[12] Dawkins’s own position is somewhat ambiguous. He welcomed N. K. Humphrey’s suggestion that “memes should be considered as living structures, not just metaphorically”[12] and proposed to regard memes as “physically residing in the brain.”[13] Although Dawkins said his original intentions had been simpler, he approved Humphrey’s opinion and he endorsed Susan Blackmore’s 1999 project to give a scientific theory of memes, complete with predictions and empirical support.[14]

  4. Memes are used to make a point through humor. Humor is something the majority of liberals and progressives don’t possess thus it angers them more. RINO’s occasionally make a good one but in most cases lack the ability to do one. When one criticizes a RINO’s meme the afflicted RINO will tell the criticizer to create their own memes. Some people don’t do memes because they already are informed on a topic. Those that are not informed on a topic or have cognitive dissonance relative to the topic try to be funny but it falls flat. Refer to the author of the Tirio meme. I bet that author has yet to fast forward through the video provided on this thread that proves ES$S/Dominion machines do cheat and will continue to clutch their pearls that it’s all about how much money you raise in an election and there is no way a man can beat the drunk helicopter pilot who lost both her legs in a crash while on a beer run.

  5. JT, you are the one that wants to replace Joe Tirio with a Democrat like Drew Georgi or Mary Mahady thinking that will somehow be a victory for Trump, Republicans, and election integrity so I’d say you are the RINO.

You asked me to make a meme about myself.

    I did.

Then you complained it wasn’t good enough.

You could at any point make your own meme but you choose not to.

You asked Joe Tirio to hold a forum.

    He did.

Then you complained it wasn’t good enough.

What is anybody supposed to think of you other than you are a crybaby?

You continue to misuse the term “cognitive dissonance” because you’re too slow to understand what it means even though it’s been explained to you.

You demand everybody watch Rumble videos you copy and paste and respond to everything said in every video yet you don’t extend the courtesy of responding to people if they can show that you’re wrong — or worse you insult them.

You’re incapable of admitting Illinois is full of Democrats because Chicago is a huge city full of minorities and left-wingers (ever been there?).

Yes Tammy Duckworth will win and yes having more money than an opponent is considered an advantage in politics.

    Advertising costs money.

    Do you understand?

Move out of Illinois if you don’t want to be in a Democratic state or perhaps focus your attention on Cook County instead of the one county in the Chicago area that actually still votes Republican.

All I see is a troll and a useful idiot for Democrats at the county level, and you have established that you don’t know anything about local or state politics.

I find it peculiar that you have no opinions about local politics and your main goal is to replace Joe Tirio with a Democrat, as if that Democrat would be better at uncovering fraud in a Democrat majority state…

You’re the one clutching your pearls by posting non-stop nonsense about Joe Tirio rigging elections that are conducted with PAPER ballots.

If you’re that sure, why aren’t you organizing recounts or audits or filing complaints with the state’s attorney or mobilizing poll watchers if you’re convinced there is fraud in McHenry County?

But you’re not going to do anything except argue on a blog with hardly any readers.

Most people ignore you because you’re annoying, mean, demanding, dense, and you derail threads by going off topic.

You’ll cry more when Tammy Duckworth wins and it won’t change a thing.

You are a snowflake who thinks your feelings are more important than reality.

When Darren Bailey gets more votes than Gary Rabine, you’ll cry that was rigged too because you’re such a low effort troll who has zero understanding of politics that you believe Darren Bailey is part of “the swamp.” Y

    ou are truly clueless, JT.

You call people RINOs and you think Darren Bailey is part of “the swamp.”

    You’re not a serious person.

Hey, maybe if you tell Bobby Piton to make fun of Tammy Duckworth for not having legs he’ll win the election.

    Voters will love that.

And remember the only way Bobby Piton can’t win by listening to you is if Joe Tirio and Dick Durbin are in cahoots to rig the voting machines!

  6. LOL Correcting, tomorrow is April fools day. You are a day early. I really won’t respond point by point to your 6:54 rant and rave. A couple of notables:

    – JT called for Tirio to hold a forum.
    – Rumble videos are lies and misinformation.
    – I want to replace Tirio with a democrat.
    – Elections using machines that are connected to the internet and hackable and programmable are on the up and up.
    – Get off my lawn and my blog. You add no value.
    – A career politician in IL is not part of the Springfield swamp.

Just curious if you have MellowMonk, NefariousShake, Martin and the rest of the trolls living in your basement. Sorry some of us aren’t as sophisticated in the world of politics as someone like you Correcting. Take a look in the mirror pops. This could be you – annoying, mean, demanding, dense, and going off topic.

I’ll take 10 Cindy’s and Koziol’s to your intellectual superiority on politics. At least some of us understand that cheating has been going on for longer than we know and we are awake to the con. I trust you like things the way they are Correcting.

And yes, by the way, if Bailey wins the election will be stolen but smart guys like you already know the predetermined outcome because of your knowledge of IL politics.

Remember to apply for your vote by mail ballot and vote on the day of the election.

Man, you are off the rails today.

    Try a Xanax.

It might cure what ails you.

  7. Ten Cindys or Koziols in one spot demands an air strike, Squirt.

  8. I have no problem with Rumble.

It’s a good service that is more open to free speech than YouTube and it seems to be gaining traction which is great news.

But you think people are going to watch every video you post and respond to every point of a one or two hour video?

You’ve shown repeatedly you don’t understand how elections in Illinois or McHenry County work.
You bring up Georgia and Arizona and Wisconsin.

Assuming someone accepts your premise about fraud there, that doesn’t prove McHenry County elections are rigged.

You have to this day not proved anything about McHenry County and I’m not aware of Piton or anybody else saying the election was dirty here (with the exception of the Wisconsin man who never changed his registration and cast a vote here which he is now being criminally prosecuted for).

It’s called McHenry County Blog not Maricopa County Blog.

Maybe people don’t want to watch a two hour video about something that happened in a state they don’t live in?

Maybe people in that state should sort their own business out especially if the fraud is as obvious as many believe.

I got bad news for you pal if a state like Arizona or Georgia with Republican trifectas won’t say there is voter fraud after 17 months since the election then you’re gonna be real disappointed about Illinois and California.

You don’t have to leave, but if you demand someone makes something and then they make it and you don’t like it, maybe you ought to just make it yourself?

Yup, being a state legislator since 2019 doesn’t make one part of “the swamp” or a “career politician” and if you knew anything about Illinois you could explain why Democrats and journalists are constantly kvetching about the so-called “Eastern Bloc” that Darren Bailey is part of.

You would know how the Eastern bloc is disliked by the leadership within the IL GOP (people like DeWitte).

You would know how people like Allen Skillicorn were pretty much blackballed within their own party.

You don’t understand political parties or factions within them and all you have is this incoherent view of a “swamp” which it sounds like you just use to label anybody who has ever been elected.

How is Darren Bailey the “swamp” when he was one of the first people to sue Pritzker over shutdowns?

No, if Bailey wins it’s because he got the most votes.

Why don’t you travel the state once in a while and look around at the yard signs.

If the vote were to be rigged, it would be rigged for Richard Irvin who was recruited by a billionaire in response to the field at the time which Bailey was leading.

It wouldn’t be rigged for a guy with a grassroots movement.

Richard Irvin wouldn’t be running in the first place if Bailey were supposed to be the nominee — Bailey would have a much easier path without having to compete against a guy who is playing commercials at every break and who the REAL swamp is lining up behind!

    You don’t like Bailey.

    Fair enough.

I’m not crazy about him either.

The difference is I’m realistic and see him as having a good chance of winning (the primary) because I recognize many Republicans do like him.

You on the other hand think if he wins it’s proof the election is rigged, because YOU don’t like him.

    This is baby mentality.

The guy I don’t like won so it must be rigged.

    Grow up, JT.

  9. Correcting, change your handle to HeadInTheSand. You know alot about politics. You think politicians will get IL out of this mess. I can’t help you if you continue to believe machines don’t cheat, voter rolls are clean using the ERIC system and a businessman that has never been in politics doesn’t have a chance to turn things around. Oh, that’s right, Trump, a businessman and not a politician, ruined our country in 4 years. Rabine will do the same in IL. Bailey, a politician will turn it all around just like Biden, a politician is doing right now.

Your love of politics has clouded your mind. If your beloved Bailey wins, so be it. Nothing will change in IL.

Grow up? No thanks Correcting. I prefer to remain young and full of humor.
