It’s begun.
Catalina Lauf (R, Woodstock) kicked off her 29th (for real) birthday celebration with a homemade Instagram song set to Phil Collins.

The actual birthday is tomorrow on cinco de mayo (May 5th).
While Lauf is half Guatemalan and Cinco de Mayo has no cultural significance to her, being of Mexican heritage, it has significance for me, especially with the French blood I carry and it’s traced to Cinco de Mayo and the French occupation of Mexico in the 1860s.
Appropriate the McHenry County Republican Party holding its after work social event at 5:30PM at Chingon Tex-Mex BBQ in the 11th District in Crystal Lake, 540 E. Terra Cotta Ave.
