The “Northwestern” Hospitals in McHenry are a sad joke.
Everyone knows it too.
Other than the orthopedic service at Huntley (which is very good largely due to OrthoIllinois), the Northwestern/Centegra Hospitals have steadily worsened largely due to their management. Michael Eesly in particular, IMO, is responsible for the gross degradation of those hospitals. Overworked nursing staff and hired MDs who are simply clinical disasters are the main problem.
Stay away from these places if you want to be healthy.
