What If the Conservative U.S. Supreme Court Justices Lived in Illinois

It’s hard to find people who think U.S. Supreme Court Justices’ homes should be picketed.

If their homes were in Illinois, the following non-picketing law would apply:

CRIMINAL OFFENSES
(720 ILCS 5/) Criminal Code of 2012.

    (720 ILCS 5/Art. 21.1 heading)ARTICLE 21.1. RESIDENTIAL PICKETING
    (720 ILCS 5/21.1-1) (from Ch. 38, par. 21.1-1)
    Sec. 21.1-1. Legislative finding and declaration.
    The Legislature finds and declares

that men in a free society have the right to quiet enjoyment of their homes;
that the stability of community and family life cannot be maintained unless the right to privacy and a sense of security and peace in the home are respected and encouraged;
that residential picketing, however just the cause inspiring it, disrupts home, family and communal life;
that residential picketing is inappropriate in our society, where the jealously guarded rights of free speech and assembly have always been associated with respect for the rights of others.

For these reasons the Legislature finds and declares this Article to be necessary.

    (720 ILCS 5/21.1-2) (from Ch. 38, par. 21.1-2)
    Sec. 21.1-2. Residential picketing. A person commits residential picketing when he or she pickets before or about the residence or dwelling of any person, except when the residence or dwelling is used as a place of business. This Article does not apply to a person peacefully picketing his own residence or dwelling and does not prohibit the peaceful picketing of the place of holding a meeting or assembly on premises commonly used to discuss subjects of general public interest.

    Sec. 21.1-3. Sentence. Violation of Section 21.1-2 is a Class B misdemeanor.

  1. Does this include unions?

    When I was an elected official they said they were going to protest in front of my home.

    I said I’d put a pot of coffee on but they never showed.

  2. All of the people in the mobs that were in the streets in front of Supreme Court Justices’ houses should have been arrested, charged, prosecuted and put in jail for some length of time.

  3. Should also have mentioned that the piece of garbage democrat senator from NY, Chuck Schumer, should have been arrested, charged, prosecuted and put in jail.

    His crime?

    Two years ago he verbally threatened two Supreme Court Justices on the stairs outside of the Supreme Court Building in Washington DC.

    This incident was seen on national tv and the evidence is available.

  4. I remember when y’all were complaining about protestors outside of JB or Lori’s houses.

    Oh wait… y’all didn’t say a word in complaint.

  5. I am not in possession of “a tranny.”

    But please do continue your unhealthy obsession with me and trans folks.

  6. Unless your BLM rioters then they can come right onto your property…! right FF and Kizzie

  7. **Nefarious take some responsibility.**

    Uh, for what? For your (and others’) obsession with me?
