McGOPAC’s “The Best is Yet to Come ~ Endorsement Gala was held Friday May 27th at the Boulder Ridge Country Club.

The evening started with Cocktails and a digital photo booth, then attendees enjoyed a dinner of visiting, networking. During Cocktails and Dinner a continuous loop was played on two big screen monitors of McGOPAC’s endorsed candidates from contested races from US Senate all the way down to Precinct Committeemen. 

Guest Speakers:

‘The Constitutional Colonel’ Ret. Mar. Col. Larry Kaifesh spoke of the Great Reset, the need to get Republicans elected, told of his experience with being cancelled due to the vaccine mandate, his commitment to sharing truth & transparency on the tyrannical globalists wanting to usher in a global communist govt. “Success against this evil is our ONLY option!”

‘A Year in the Life’ of McGOPAC’s first “Outstanding Young Conservative” of 2021, 17 yr old Brett Corrigan, 

He talked about his life on the road as an intern for one of the most important campaigns IL has going to his attendance online at Full Armor Christian Academy ~ the school Darren Bailey and his family founded after Darren spent 17 yrs on the public school board in Southern IL. Brett also described his vision of Illinois without a tyrannical NWO Governor like Pritzker, if we can indeed turn the ship around!

The Ruth Family of Huntley was honored for their contribution to the beautification of the Huntley community with with a video set to music of drone footage of the patriotic mural on a silo on Rt 47 as you enter Huntley. It is a Huntley landmark called The Freedom Silo.

Two Home Schooling stipends of $250 each were given to  McHenry County families who were caring, courageous and ABLE to take their kids out of the tax-funded indoctrination centers called the Public School system. The Guzman family from Woodstock, and The Neilsen family, in attendance from Hebron. 

McGOPAC’s Frst pillar is Pro-Life so 1st Way Life Center Director Judy Cocks and her husband were in attendance.  The rule for the Candidate’s Speeches was to keep it to 5 minutes. For every minute that a candidate would go over they would pay $100 to 1st Way Life Center!  One Candidate went over 30 seconds and another went 4 minutes over! GOPAC issued a $500 check to 1st Way.

Tony Colatorti for McHenry County Sheriff – States Atty Patrick Kenneally introduced Tony Colatorti with some jokes to lighten the political air. The biggest surprise to attendees was Tony Colatorti’s speech which didn’t include a campaign speech at all, but it rather centered around his Catholic, unapologetic, Pro-Life Stance and his personal experience that led him to tell his story.  

Kathy Salvi for US Senate – Mother of six who has had a presence in the Republican Party for decades as a Conservative/Pro-Lifer, traveling to all 102 counties multiple times on  behalf of numerous Conservative candidates, including her husband Al. Promises she will vote to stop runaway inflation, make America energy independent again, secure the border, reduce crime and put Parents back in the drivers seat of their children’s education, fight for the UnBorn, and protect our 2nd amendment rights! Her daughter worked high within the Trump administration along side his Generals and most trusted advisors. 

Dave Syverson for IL State Senate 35th Dist. – Recently redistricted to the Western part of McHenry County, he has been endorsed by every pro-life Group  and Leader in IL  including Jeanne Ives. He has a 100% Pro-Life record and is also endorsed by all Law Enforcement. He doesn’t take his legislative raises but rather donates it to worthy causes as he did as soon as he was distried into McHenry County, giving generously to causes such as 1st Way and Senior Services of McHenry County.

Jerry Evans for Eleventh Congressional Dist – A Millennial Small Business Owner, Teacher, Christian, Husband, Father who founded a music school of 300 students, where he employs between 13-15 people. Jerry talked about how he feels blessed to do what he loves everyday, but radical progressivist politicians in Washington continue to attach the freedoms and rights of Americans so Jerry decided to run for Congress and bring servant leadership back to Washington and the 11th Congressional Dist. Jerry was creative in keeping his business open during the Unconstitutional shutdowns and kept his employees working as well. Endorsed by Jeanne Ives, Former chief Justice Bob Thomas as well as other Conservative endorsements. Jerry is also proudly and verbally Pro-Life. His wife and children were in attendance. 

Darren Bailey for Governor-Just before dinner Bailey was interviewed at the event by Steve Bannon’s War Room!  Bailey has been endorsed by every pro-life Group  and Leader in IL  including Jeanne Ives, and who has a 100% Pro-Life record. Darren’s commercial with Stephanie Trussell was played as the introduction to Darren Bailey. He spoke about his marriage and explained that their 50/50 marriage is really 80/20 and wife Cindy is the 80% better ‘half!’ He spoke of his record, that he was singular in fighting Pritzker’s unConstitutional mandates, expressed his love of meeting all people across Illinois and his plan to save Illinois. 

Joe Tirio, McHenry County Clerk emceed the event, Joe is a strong Pro-Life candidate hosting one of the largest Pro-Life events in the county last year. His Govt Watchdog Group ‘Voters In Action’ among other things, stopped a free clinic from going into the Woodstock High School where young females could be brought to abortion clinics without their parents knowledge. in his speech he had a few words of warnings but mostly it was an aspirational speech with calls to action which ended with a champagne toast 

“So please raise your glasses to a new frontier on a familiar landscape, to an Illinois old Abe would be proud of, where by the grace of God and our hard work, truly The Best is Yet to Come!”

The dance floor opened and Jerry Evans and wife Lisa took an opportunity to take a spin on the dance floor  to “The Best is Yet to Come”.  They had volunteers competing to watch their young son Michael and little baby Levi. This was a family event, a Conservative gathering and Pro-Life endorsement Gala, so any and all babies were welcome! 

Sweets & Cigars were served. Several politicos held court around the fire bowls on the terrace.

A take away. Every attendee was given a clear sleeve containing the Illinois Family Institute’s Election Guide that highlights ALL incumbents statewide and their Pro-Life, Pro-Family voting records. Along with the voter guides, were State, County, County Board Districts campaign literature for endorsed candidates. Candidates signs lined the hall and were available on the way out so attendees could hit the ground running to support the candidates!

Piggy-Back event. Attendees were invited to an event held Two days later, GOPAC hosted an open house style cook out in Huntley’s Park from noon – 3pm. FREE ‘Meet the Candidates Cook-out’ for County Board Candidate Eric Hendricks, Tony Colatorti for Sheriff, and McHenry County Clerk, Joe Tirio. Other endorsed candidates came and went as well.
