Three Years for Domestic Battery

DANIEL G. PARIS SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR TWO OFFENSES OF DOMESTIC BATTERY

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that on June 29, 2022, Daniel G. Paris, 55, of Woodstock, Illinois, was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offense of Domestic Battery and one year for another offense of Domestic Battery by the Honorable Judge Robert Wilbrandt.

The sentences will run consecutive to each other for a total of three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Paris pleaded guilty to two counts of Domestic Battery, both being Class 4 Felonies.

These cases were investigated by officers from the McHenry Police Department and the Woodstock Police Department.

These cases were prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Justin T. Neubauer and Assistant State’s Attorney Mary Ann Scholl.
