We are so THANKFUL, it may as well be Thanksgiving!
As we head into the 4th of July weekend, we are not only grateful for our country and freedom, but also for all our friends, new and old.
Tuesday was a beautiful evening in Illinois as Tanya Gibson of Beauty for Ashes led us all in singing the National Anthem.
It wrapped up 7 months of a great adventure in democracy and kicked off our 4th of July!

We are happy and grateful Mark Curran won the 2022 Republican nomination for Illinois Supreme Court!
We are also at peace knowing that we and our team ran a clean, positive, and honorable campaign… and had a blast doing it.
From petition signature collection and financial contributions to the parades, prayers and shares, we are humbled to know that so many came forward to support us.
We sincerely hope to stay connected in new ways.

Of course he is! They’re both Democrats! This ‘win’ will hand it to the Democrat! He shows his hand all too easily.

FWIW, here is what Geneva’s Jeff Ward had to say about Judge Noverini’s race:
“Though he ran a solid campaign, 16th circuit Judge John Noverini came in third in the four-way Republican primary. Mark Curran will face Democrat Elizabeth Rochford in November.
“And speaking of Rochford, she ran the kind of textbook voter-based judicial campaign that should serve as a primer for any attorney with judicial aspirations.
“Conversely, 16th Circuit Judge Rene Cruz ran an it’s-all-about-me campaign revolving around endorsements that doomed him to a distant third place finish in the Democratic race.
“I tried to tell Rene that posting endorsements from attorneys, particularly questionable attorneys like David Camic and Tricia Goosetree, wouldn’t help his cause, and they’d likely hurt it. He politely thanked me for my input and persisted in running one of the worst campaigns in Illinois judicial history. Cruz didn’t even win his own County!”
And here’s Ward’s prediction in the fall:
“The ensuing Curran versus Rochford race will be a tough fight. But if Rochford can effectively tell the voters that Curran has never been a practicing attorney, she should win.”
If Ward’s prediction true, Republicans lose any hope of taking control of the Illinois Supreme Court, and the 2nd District seat will be flipped.
Excuse me, but the Democrat primary vote was a lot less than the Republican primary vote.

She’s vulnerable on crime, gun control and the out of control, unconstitutional mandates of Lightfoot and Pritzker that her fellow Democrats cheered on.
While I disagree with Sheriff Curran’s endorsement of Sanctuary State and citizenship for DACA “children”, there are plenty of Republicans who agree with him.
That’s not the same as blanket amnesty for all illegal aliens Democrats want.
On most issues, Curran is solidly in the Republican mainstream.
It was simply ridiculous to say a man who ran as a Republican for Lake County Sheriff in 2010, 2014 and 2018 and U.S. Senate in 2020 with the full backing of the Republican party in the primary is a Democrat.
It’s really time to stop the constant lies and realize what it is at stake.
Outside his wife and himself, there were few who worked as hard as I did for Judge Noverini.
I still think he would have been the best to win cross-over Democrats and Democrat leaning independents.
But Curran has a proven track record of doing that, unlike Shanes who could only throw mud to cover up a thin resume with no political and business credentials or even personal statements on issues that would prove he was truly a constitutional conservative.
It’s time the Shanes forces grow up and like Noverini, think of the good of the party and the state and wholeheartedly endorse Curran.
Noverini is a class act.
The bar association reviews are the key to judicial races.
Bar associations limit themselves to descriptions like “qualified” “Not qualified”, or maybe “recommeneded” and “not recommended” .
To the average voter this makes it look like a judge candidate is not fit to hold the position if they get the “not” designation.
This is principally why Demetri (don’t ask me to spell his last name) was unsuccessful in two tries despite being well funded and working very hard.
He was disliked by the private lawyers because he was a no nonsense prosecutor who didn’t make any friends within the bar.
The Four Inns of Court to the unholy Temple Globally, all the legalistic scams promoted by the exclusive monopoly of the Temple Bar and their Bar Association franchises come from four Inns or Temples of Court: the Inner Temple, the Middle Temple, Lincoln’s Inn , and Gray’s Inn.
These Inns/Temples are exclusive and private country clubs, secret societies of world power in commerce.
They are well established; some having been founded in the early 1200’s.
The Queen and Queen Mother of England are current members of both the Inner Temple and Middle Temple.
Gray’s Inn specializes in Taxation legalities by Rule and Code for the Crown.
Lincoln’s Inn received its name from the Third Earl of Lincoln (circa 1300).
