Shootings in Huntley’s Wing Point Subdivision

From the Huntley Police:

UPDATE 1300 hours

The offender fled the scene in a white, 4-door sedan and has been described as a male, Hispanic, 5’5” – 5’8” in height, short hair and a stocky build.

The Huntley Police Department asks residents of the Wing Pointe subdivision to review their doorbell and security cameras from the early morning hours for any footage that might assist in this investigation.

On Monday, July 18, 2022, at approximately 4:18 am, officers of the Huntley Police Department responded to the 11800 block of Cape Cod Lane for a report of shots fired.

The offender had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

Upon arrival,bofficers secured the scene and provided medical aid to two adult male victims who were later transported to area hospitals.

A preliminary investigation determined the offender drove to the house and approached the front door where gunfire ensued.

The offender fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

At this point, this does not appear to be a random incident and is specific to this location.

There is no one in custody at this time.

This is an active investigation being conducted by the Huntley Police Department with the assistance of the McHenry County Major Investigative Assistance Team.

  1. Here’s a tip – he’s already fled to Mexico, try looking there.

    Matters like this are to be expected and accepted as normal in a DEMOCRAT controlled/run
    “Sanctuary State” such as Illinois.
