Was Pritzker’s Support of Darren Bailey Worse than Jack Franks-Supported Parade Chauffeur Running in the GOP Primary Against Steve Reick?

Going though boxes accumlated during the last seven years turned up a February 26, 2016,Northwest Herald article by Kevin Craver in which Jeff Litche.

Steve Rieick observed, “…what the Democrats have done, to the political process is a scandal, and it has to be addressed. This cannot be allowed to stand…He is more being used by the Democrats and Jack Franks than he is being opposed by me, and I think that’s sad.”
When I saw Jeff Lichte driving Jack Franks’ truck, I yelled, “Hi, Jeff.” He waved back.

Although there is no dieect evidence, it seems likely that State Rep. Jack Franks put him up to it.

After all, If Litche were Franks’ fall opponent, he would roll over and play dead, the way Republican candidates placed on the ballot by Mike Madigan disappeared in November elections.

Here are the Mike Madigan allies who donated to protect Jack Franks from a real Republican Party opponent this fall:

  • 3-8-16 IPACE (Illinois Education Association PAC), Springfield – $12,500
  • 3-9-16 SEIU Healthcare, Chicago – $5,000
  • 3-9-16 llinois Trial Lawyers Assoc. PAC, Springfield – $15,000
  • 3-10-16 IHCA (Illinois Health Care Association) PAC, Springfield – $5,000
  • 3-10-16 Aperion Care Inc., Skokie – $1,250

  • 3-22-16 International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 2, Chicago – $3,000

What Republicans spent to stave off a Lichte victory can be found here.

As it turned out, Franks decided not to run for State Representative for the nineteeth time, instead successfully seeking the McHenry County Board Chairmanship the first time it was elected at-large.

Tuesday the Chicago Tribune called out Governor JB Pritzker in an editorial.

After prasing Pritzker for not succuming to corrupt practices polilticians in need of money, the Editorial Board wrote:
